Mode of access
The wallet can be accessed by using a mnemonic, hardware wallet, or the key file. Mnemonics are word passphrases which are generated to be used in accessing the wallet. The Hardware Wallet is termed as the safest and best way to access the funds. It is not very likely to be harmed. The key file is an encrypted .JSON type of file which is used to access the fund.
How to use Ledger Nano S
- Download the Cardano app onto the device.
- Plug in the hardware and enter the pin to access the wallet
- Visit the website after rechecking the URL. Click in the Hardware wallet tab from the mode of access options.
- Click on the unlock with ledger button.
- It will show that the data is loading. Wait till it is finished.
- On the device, pass the export public key message by pressing both the button simultaneously.
- Confirm the export of the public key by clicking on the appropriate button.
- By now, the wallet is successfully accessed on the Ledger Device.
